Situated on five acres, our country inn provides a truly romantic setting including a fenced-in blue stone courtyard, a marvelous Gazebo and surrounding gardens for a spring, summer, or fall wedding. During the winter months, enjoy the cozy and spacious Ticonderoga Great Room with fireplace and Tavern. The Saratoga Room offers beautiful views of the Adirondack Mountains and we can offer brunch, lunch, hors d’oeuvres and dinner options. Small Wedding Package
The Strong House Inn is a perfect location for a smaller, more boutique-style wedding. With 13 uniquely decorated rooms, a mix of indoor and outdoor venue options, beautiful grounds with many different flowers blooming throughout the season and a broad assortment of customized package options, your special day will be surrounded by your immediate family and friends along with the landscape that makes up the essence of Vermont.
The Strong House Inn small wedding package, for parties up to 50 people, offers the following:
- 13 rooms for you, your families, wedding party and guests, which includes a full breakfast each day.
- Location for your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
- Onsite chef that will work closely with you on creating the menu (option to bring in a licensed & insured caterer)
- Exclusive use of the property for ceremony, photography, reception and lodging
Overview of Policies
- It is required that all guest rooms at The Strong House Inn be rented by wedding party/guests for the required minimum of nights typical for the season.
- You can choose to pay for the rooms or have your guests be responsible for nightly room fees and incidentals.
- In the unfortunate situation that the event is cancelled all payments made are nonrefundable.
- There is a space in the Ticonderoga Room for dancing; however, we do not install a dance floor.
- In accordance with local laws outdoor receptions and music must cease by 10:00 pm
- Last call at the bar is the earlier of 5 hours from the start of the event or 9:30pm.
- Vermont law requires that all beverages be provided by The Strong House Inn.
- If you wish to bring in your own caterer, please make sure that they provide their license and insurance (naming the Strong House Inn as additionally insured) no later than two months prior to your event date.
- Outside caterers may not use the Inn’s kitchen, we can arrange for a catering tent outside the event space should they wish to cook on site for an additional fee.
- All food and beverages are subject to a 9% Vermont Rooms & Meals tax
- A 20% service charge will automatically be added

Rental includes use of the Inn’s 6’ and 8’ banquet tables, white linens, white chairs and plates, glassware and flatware

- Open bar – host pays all, entire bar contents and drinks made available to guests
- Limited open bar – host pays for selected items (specific wines, beers and/or liquor). Entire bar contents are made available however guests pay for drinks not hosted.
- Guests pay – entire bar is available, guests pay for their own drinks
